This has been a long time coming and a lot of hard work, but I am thrilled that my debut 5-track EP is finally out Ultra Naté’s new label, 410 Paradox Underground. The advanced feedback has been crazy on this and it’s currently being supported by heavyweights such as Ashley Beedle, Jazzie B, DJ Spen, Quentin Harris, Tedd Patterson, Marques Wyatt, Severino of Horse Meat Disco, Yass, Danny J Lewis, Distant People, Master Kev, Swift of DJN Project, Richard Payton of 95 North and others!
I took this Tenaglia classic dub and did some rearranging and trimming in order to get rid of the whack 90s cliches that were ruining an otherwise awesome tune. Enjoy!
New label and forthcoming Party Bros. debut EP from the minds of Gavin Holland and I. We’re starting this label to put out projects from ourselves and our friends that fall outside the realm of traditional dance music. The 12″ will be available at local shops and Italians Do It Better online store on February 28th.
Gavin and I created a mix to push said (un)concept which includes a couple of tracks from the EP.
Mike Simonetti and I did a house bootlegs 12″ split (limited to 300 copies) that should be out in a few weeks. I’ve been banging these tracks on my side pretty regularly throughout the fall and Mike’s “Sweet as Honey” African edit is simply INSANE. I should have a few for sale at Joe’s Record Paradise in Silver Spring shortly if you wanna cruise through on the Tuesday afternoons that I am there.
I met Kevin and Mick at Bethany Beach during Memorial Day Weekend of 2008 . Fast forward a year and I was just starting to learn music production and the band was gracious enough to allow me to take a shot at reworking “Sing Your Song.” Inspired by all the fun we had during that sunny, beer-drenched weekend, I flipped the original into a beachy dub that we are now finally allow to release more than 2 years later (with a ton of touchups and mix corrections!) I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.
